The Joplin R-8 Board of Education will have three new faces during its next meeting.
According to complete but unofficial results in Jasper and Newton counties, voters elected Randy Steele, Jeff Flowers and Phil Willcoxon to serve three-year terms. The three newcomers ran against incumbent Jim Meadows and newcomer Mark Jones.
Flowers received the most votes with 1,886, followed by Steele with 1,843, Willcoxon with 1,777, Meadows with 1,416 and Jones with 1,191.
