    Since 1997, the Acrobats of China, featuring the New Shanghai Circus, have entertained visitors with their feats of acrobatics, dance, strength and balance. Merry, who has worked on the troupe's marketing staff since its Branson debut, said it was the first international act to set up full-time residence in the Ozarks entertainment community.

    When I head to Branson, I seldom have kids in tow. Occasionally I get to take along a niece or nephew — or my grandmother — for a weekend of riding roller coasters. We may spend an afternoon at a water park or hit the go-cart tracks for some high-speed fun. Wild Woody, anyone?
