JOPLIN, Mo. — Well this should be fun.
Mark Smith, son of longtime St. Mary's-Colgan head coach Chuck Smith, was named head coach at Frontenac High School on Monday night, according to a tweet from his brother, Jeff Smith.
If you're not too familiar things on the Kansas side of the border, Colgan and Frontenac have somewhat of a rivalry thing going on, to put it lightly.
Smith was an all-state quarterback for his dad at Colgan before starring at Pittsburg State. He was a graduate assistant at PSU and is currently at Carl Junction High School.
