John didn't talk much at the start of last year. He was settling in and getting comfortable. Then he had a magical season that led to a national championship and set him up as a contender for this year's Harlon Hill award.
Now, it seems he's more willing to open up, which he did when I interviewed him.
Regardless of which MIAA team you root for, it's hard not to pull for a kid like John Brown.

It delves deeper into the story about his brother. I didn't get into that too much in my feature because I felt that story had been told very well last year, particulary in the commemorative magazine put out by Dan Wilkes and Co. at Pitt State.
