— CARTHAGE, Mo. — A fire that damaged four apartments Monday night at the Victorian Courtyards in Carthage is believed to have been electrical.
The Carthage Fire Department responded at 5:09 p.m. to the apartment complex at 410 W. Fir Road. Firefighter Josh Garrett said no one was injured in the fire at the two-story complex. Two apartments were damaged by fire, and two more apartments were damaged by smoke, Garrett said.
The Duenweg and Carterville fire departments assisted at the scene.
