CARTHAGE, Mo. — Three people are facing felony charges after Jasper County deputies allegedly discovered components for manufacturing methamphetamine Tuesday morning inside a Carthage home.
The Sheriff’s Department said deputies at 12:28 a.m. went to 747 E. Chestnut St. in a follow-up to a previous investigation. Four people were located at the home, including one with an outstanding warrant through the Carthage Police Department in connection with a charge of driving under the influence. Brandi Mills, 33, was arrested on the warrant.
Three others were arrested when the deputies allegedly found components for manufacturing meth in the home. The Jasper County Drug Task Force was notified. Charged with possession of chemicals with intent to manufacture meth were Gary L. Witmer Jr., 41; Paula L. Wilson, 29; and Marsha G. Sedgwick, 43.
