Stolen items recovered by Jasper County Sheriff's Department can be claimed

CARTHAGE, Mo. — The Jasper County Sheriff’s Department has recovered a large amount of stolen items from thefts of storage units and vehicles in the Carthage, Joplin, Webb City and Carl Junction areas. These thefts occurred between June and December 2013.

There will be two “viewing” days for the victims to claim their stolen items.

They will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday and again on Thursday at the Jasper County Sheriff’s Department,  231 South Main St., Carthage. Victims should go to the North side of the building to the “garage” area.

The victims must have a copy of their police report with the stolen items listed in the report.
