NEOSHO, Mo. — Sheriff’s deputies discovered two alleged shake-and-bake methamphetamine labs and an undisclosed amount of the drug when they served a search warrant Monday morning at 15724 Finch Drive in Newton County.

Sheriff Ken Copeland said William S. Poole, 48, was arrested at the address and charged with manufacturing and possession of a controlled substance, and felony child endangerment. A 1-year-old child who was in the home was placed in the protective custody of the state, the sheriff said.

Poole was being held at the Newton County Jail in Neosho on $15,000 bond.
