PITTSBURG, Kan. — A Pittsburg man, arrested early Wednesday, faces multiple drug charges after search warrants were executed at two residences in Pittsburg.
Christopher Mitchell, 50, has been charged with cultivation of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm and possession of stolen property.
Detective Lt. Cris Hatcher said about 150 plants were confiscated along with about 5 pounds of marijuana from residences at 1410 and 1412 N. Joplin St. Also confiscated were four firearms.
Mitchell was taken to the Crawford County Jail in Girard.
