JOPLIN, Mo. —
Police are investigating the death of a 55-year-old man whose body was discovered in a house in Joplin early today.
The Joplin Police Department said officers were dispatched to 903 W. Ninth St. at 12:06 a.m. to check on the welfare of an occupant and the found the man deceased inside the house at that address. The man’s name was being withheld pending notification of family and determination of cause of death.
