Pittsburg woman hurt in accident south of Asbury

A Pittsburg, Kan., woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident at 12:10 p.m. Wednesday on Missouri Highway 171, just south of Asbury in Jasper County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The driver, Jo D. Glick, 58, was taken by ambulance to Freeman Hospital West in Joplin.

The patrol said Glick’s southbound vehicle ran off the road, and struck a gravel embankment and a tree.
