Reeds woman hurt in accident west of town

— A Reeds woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 2:05 p.m. Wednesday on Fir Road, a half-mile west of Reeds in Jasper County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Christina M. Farriester, 23, was taken to Mercy McCune-Brooks Hospital in Carthage, the state patrol said.

Farriester was a passenger in a westbound pickup truck driven by Bradley D. Hull, 21, of Reeds, that slid off the road and struck a utility pole, the patrol said.

• A resident of Aurora was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday on Route TT, five miles west of Crane in Barry County, the state patrol said.

Dalton E. Little, 18, was taken to Mercy Hospital in Aurora, the patrol said.

He was driving an eastbound vehicle that ran off the road and overturned, the patrol said.

• A Seneca woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 6:35 a.m. Wednesday on Missouri Highway 43, one mile south of Joplin in Newton County, the state patrol said.

Dina S. Keller, 38, was taken by ambulance to Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, the patrol said.

Keller was driving a northbound car that was struck in the rear by a northbound car driven by Ashley N. Croswell, 23, of Seneca, the patrol said.

• A Marionville man was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday on County Road 2175, a half-mile west of Marionville in Lawrence County, the state patrol said.

Gavin S. Edgar, 21, was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, the patrol said.

Edgar was driving a westbound pickup truck that ran off the road and struck a metal post, the patrol said.
