A 20-year-old worker suffered a serious injury in an industrial accident last week at the Hampshire Pet Products plant in Joplin, according to a police report released Monday.

Austin L. Runyon was cleaning parts on a machine with rollers about 10:45 a.m. Friday inside the plant at 7502 E. 20th St. when one of his hands was pulled into the machine, police said.
