Nevada man facing charge in 2009 slaying

NEVADA, MO. — Vernon County authorities on Friday arrested Nevada resident Bob True Beisly II in connection with the death of his estranged wife in 2009.

Beisly, 57, is charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of his estranged wife, Belinda Beisly, in July 2009. Her body was found after she had been shot to death in her home north of Deerfield.

State electronic records suggest that Beisly was being held without bond at the Vernon County Jail.

Further information was not available Friday night from the Vernon County Sheriff’s Department.
