An Exeter man suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 3:57 p.m. Wednesday on Missouri Highway 76 at Ridgeley in Barry County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Daniel J. Allen, 28, was flown by medical helicopter to Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, the patrol said.
Allen was driving a westbound vehicle that ran off the road and overturned, the patrol said.
• A Neosho man was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 7:45 a.m. Wednesday on Missouri Highway 175, one mile north of Neosho in Newton County, the state patrol said.
Travis W. Charlton, 31, was taken to Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, the patrol said.
Charlton was driving a westbound vehicle that collided with a northbound vehicle driven by Miranda E. Mitchell, 42, of Neosho, as Charlton made a U-turn in front of Mitchell, the patrol said.
• A 21-year-old man was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 9:48 p.m. Tuesday in the 600 block of North Summit Street in Girard, Kan., according to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department.
William R. Holt, of Farlington, Kan., was taken to the Girard Medical Center, the department said.
Holt was driving a southbound pickup truck that ran off the street, striking a guy wire and damaging utility poles, before crossing the road and striking a street sign, and then crossing the road again and striking a parked car, the department said.
• Both drivers were injured in a two-vehicle accident at 5:40 p.m. Tuesday on Missouri Highway 86, four miles south of Granby in Newton County, the Missouri patrol said.
Kelley M. Nabors, 42, of Pierce City, and Samarn S. Ladbasri, 64, of Neosho, sought medical treatment on their own, the patrol said.
Nabors was driving an eastbound vehicle that ran into the rear of a farm tractor driven by Ladbasri, the patrol said.
• A resident of Grain Valley suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 4:05 a.m. Tuesday on Route AA, six miles south of Schell City in Vernon County, the state patrol said.
Chad A. Masten, 42, was taken to Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, the patrol said.
Masten was driving a northbound vehicle that skidded off the road, struck a utility pole and caught fire, the patrol said.

Murder warrant issued in fatal domestic shooting
Police believe Doyle Handle shot himself after fatally shooting Dena Davenport during a domestic disturbance Thursday night at their residence in Grove. Officers responded to a 6:55 p.m. report of a shooting at the couple’s home on Wood Street on the southwest side of Grove and found Handle, 52, in the front yard with a gunshot wound to his jaw.

Two plead guilty to post-tornado wire theft
