Man tells police of being robbed by two women



A 64-year-old Joplin man reported being robbed Thursday night by two women who came to his home on North Mineral Avenue.

John I. Washington told police that the women shoved him down, threatened him with a knife and stole $40 from him.

Police Cpl. Chuck Niess said the robbery remained under investigation Friday without an arrest being made. Niess said Washington did not require medical attention following the incident.
