Two shoplifting incidents over the weekend in Joplin led to felony charges against the suspects, according to police reports.
Tasha L. Robinson, 24, of Webb City, and a 14-year-old girl were detained Friday night by employees at the Sears store in Northpark Mall for allegedly attempting to leave the business without paying for $508.98 worth of clothing stuffed in a diaper bag.
The Jasper County prosecutor’s office charged Robinson with felony stealing. The minor was referred to juvenile authorities.
Timothy K. Truman, 20, 1909 S. Empire Ave., was charged with second-degree robbery after an alleged shoplifting incident Saturday morning at the Dollar General store at 807 W. Seventh St.
