Fire damages Neosho home; no injuries cited

NEOSHO, Mo. — A rural Neosho house was damaged in a fire late Saturday morning, according to the Fire Department.

Firefighters from Neosho and Seneca were called at 11:48 a.m. to the home on Kodiak Road, outside the Neosho city limits.

They found light smoke coming from the house, Lt. Adrian Hitchcock said. The fire was under control in about 15 minutes, leaving light damage to the attic, he said.

The cause of the fire was still under investigation as of Saturday afternoon, Hitchcock said.

No injuries were reported.
