Pineville man injured in crash on Highway 59

A Pineville man was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 9:20 a.m. Tuesday on Highway 59 in Lanagan in McDonald County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Michael Heins, 20, was taken to Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, the patrol said.

Heins was driving a northbound car that ran off the road, struck an embankment and overturned, the patrol said.
