Crack cocaine seized in raid at Joplin home

The Jasper County Drug Task Force seized almost 2 ounces of crack cocaine and about a half-pound of marijuana while executing a search warrant Wednesday at 1927 S. Kentucky Ave.

The Joplin Police Department’s special weapons and tactics team assisted task force members serving the warrant.

Two people were arrested. Rolon A. McAdams, 35, was charged with first-degree trafficking in crack cocaine and possession of marijuana with intent to deliver. A 31-year-old woman was released without charges.

A probable-cause affidavit states that the task force found four bags containing a combined total of more than 50 grams of crack cocaine hidden in a salt container in a kitchen cabinet.

The marijuana was discovered in two bags concealed in a cereal box, according to the affidavit.
