Police seeking suspect in robbery of Subway restaurant

JOPLIN, Mo. — Police are seeking help identifying a suspect in an armed robbery of a Joplin restaurant.

According to a report from the Joplin Police Department, a man entered the Subway restaurant at 1820 W. 32nd St at about 10 p.m. last night. He produced a handgun and demanded money from the clerk, who gave him an undetermined amount, according to the report. He then left the store on foot.

He is a white male about 5-foot-6 or 7 inches tall with a medium build, according to the report. He was last seen wearing a dark ball cap, dark jacket and blue jeans.
