MIAMI, Okla. — The cause of an overnight fire that destroyed a tattoo parlor on Main Street in Miami had yet to be determined by Wednesday afternoon.
The Miami Fire Department responded at 11:46 p.m. Tuesday to a report of the fire at Scouts Tattoo, 1819 N. Main St.
Firefighter Tyler Bullard said there was heavy smoke but no flames coming from the single-story, cinder-block building when firefighters arrived. The fire soon broke through the roof, causing it to collapse, Bullard said.
No injuries were reported in the fire, which destroyed the building owned by Doyle James of Miami. Firefighters were on the scene for close to four hours, Bullard said.
