Two men facing drug charges

Two men were charged with felony drug offenses after Jasper County sheriff’s deputies seized an alleged methamphetamine lab and five bags of the drug at a Webb City apartment on Tuesday.

The Jasper County Sheriff’s Department said deputies developed information that there was an active meth lab inside Apartment 1A at 9 S. Webb St. and obtained a search warrant for the address. The warrant was served about 1 p.m. Tuesday, and led to the arrests of the occupant of the apartment, Kenneth D. Bell, 30, and Warren A. White, 41, also of Webb City.

Deputies reportedly found five bags of meth on Bell, and he was charged with felony possession. White, who is accused of setting up the lab in Bell’s residence, was charged with manufacturing a controlled substance.
