Fire damages Aurora restaurant; no injuries cited

AURORA, Mo. — A fire Sunday night caused a moderate amount of damage to Bootleggers restaurant in downtown Aurora, according to the town’s Fire Department.

The fire broke out about 10:30 p.m. inside the restaurant, which had been closed for the day. The Aurora, Monett and Marionville city fire departments and the Aurora Rural Fire Department responded to the call. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the blaze remained out on Monday.
