Several injured in traffic accidents on roads in area

A teenager from Neosho was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday on Old Seneca Drive, a quarter-mile west of Neosho in Newton County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Christian A. Neff, 17, was taken to Mercy McCune-Brooks Hospital in Carthage, the state patrol said.

Neff was driving an eastbound car that ran off the road and struck a ditch, the patrol said.

 An Arkansas woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday on U.S. Highway 71 in Jane, the state patrol said.

Kendra C. Jones, 21, of Rogers, Ark., was taken to Mercy Hospital in Rogers, the patrol said.

Jones was driving a northbound car that ran off the road and struck a curb, the patrol said.

 A resident of Goodman was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 3:35 p.m. Tuesday on Missouri Highway 59 north of Lanagan in McDonald County, the state patrol said.

Jerry D. Slaughter, 23, was taken to Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, the patrol said.

Slaughter was driving a northbound pickup truck that ran off the road and struck a tree, the patrol said.
