Another charge filed against man in multiple burglaries

— MONETT, Mo. — A new felony burglary charge was filed this week in Barry County Circuit Court against a 20-year-old Monett man.

William Thurman was being held at the Barry County Jail in lieu of $35,000 bond.

Monett police arrested Thurman on June 17 after officers obtained search warrants for two apartments in Monett. Evidence seized included a guitar stolen from the House of Prayer Church in December.

The new charge, filed Monday, is related at a June 14 burglary at the Monett City Pool.

Thurman also is charged with other burglaries from 2012 and 2011.
