Oronogo man facing burglary, marijuana charges

An Oronogo man is facing charges of burglary and felony possession of marijuana.

Joshua D. Wilson, 27, was arrested late Thursday night after an investigation of the burglary of a residence on Jag Lane.

A probable-cause affidavit states that a witness reported seeing Wilson force entry to the residence of Tonya Keene through a side door and then run from the address a short time later.

Wilson was located by deputies at his home at 21556 Kafir Road, and a search of his room reportedly turned up about 2 ounces of suspected marijuana. The affidavit states that deputies were unable to locate any items reportedly stolen in the burglary.

Wilson remained Monday in the Jasper County Jail in lieu of $3,500 bond.
