A 29-year-old man is facing a felony theft charge after allegedly stealing a laptop computer and an iPad from a Joplin day care center, according to police.
Police Cpl. Chuck Niess said officers were called shortly before noon Wednesday to Little Critters Daycare at 2106 S. Main St. An employee reported that a man who had walked into the day care had taken the items off a couch and fled.
Officers found two men a short distance away and arrested one of them, Rosario J.V. Caruso, 324 N. Connor Ave., Apartment 4. Caruso was charged with felony stealing.
