Six people were injured in a six-vehicle crash at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday at the junction of highways 69 and 160, one mile north of Frontenac, Kan., according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.

The patrol reported that a southbound trailer-truck rig driven by Eric L. Christopher, 30, of Red Oak, Okla., ran into the rear of three vehicles that were stopped at a red light on U.S. Highway 69.

The collision pushed a car driven by April D. Semrad, 34, of Galesburg, Kan., into the rear of a second truck rig driven by Sammy L.
