Man charged after drug raid in Pittsburg



PITTSBURG, Kan. — Police raided a home Wednesday in Pittsburg and seized about 4 pounds of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and cash.

No one was at home when police, armed with a search warrant, raided 1015 S. Tucker St., but officers later arrested tenant Lavell A. Owens a few blocks away.

Owens, whose age was not available in a news release from the Pittsburg Police Department, was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, felony and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and having no drug tax stamp.
