Two suspects sought in robbery of Pittsburg Convenient Laundromat

PITTSBURG, Kan. — Two men in hooded jackets with handkerchiefs over their faces robbed a Pittsburg coin-operated laundry Wednesday night, leaving with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Pittsburg police said the robbery took place about 9:30 p.m. at the Convenient Laundromat, 904 S. Joplin Ave.

Two men believed to be about 20 years of age, and both about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds, entered the business and demanded money from the clerk on duty. One of the men showed the clerk a handgun in his waistband.
