The driver of the vehicle, Neng Lee, 39, and her four passengers were taken to Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, the state patrol said. The injured passengers were identified as Billy K. Vang, 13; Melody G. Vang, 3; Stephanie P. Vang, 18; and Victor Vang, 4.

Their northbound vehicle ran off the road, and struck a reflector post and several trees when Lee lost control of the vehicle in heavy rain, the patrol said.
