PITTSBURG, Kan. — A masked man robbed a female employee of a fast-food restaurant Monday night as she was attempting to make a night deposit at a bank in Pittsburg.

The robbery took place shortly after 6 p.m. outside University National Bank at 1206 S. Broadway, according to Pittsburg police. The man grabbed the deposit bag the woman was holding and fled on foot down an alley.

The robber was described as 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall and about 200 pounds. He was wearing khaki pants, a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and a dark mask. He did not display a weapon and the woman escaped injury, police said.
