Pittsburg couple face drug charges after police raid

PITTSBURG, Kan. — Police arrested a Pittsburg couple and removed two children from their custody after searching their home Monday and allegedly finding methamphetamine and marijuana.

The Pittsburg Police Department served a search warrant about 8:30 a.m. at 316 E. Park St. and arrested Derrick Neil, 31, and Samantha Alcantar, 33. Undisclosed amounts of meth and marijuana were seized along with drug paraphernalia, police said.

Neil and Alcantar were taken to the Crawford County Jail and charged with separate counts of possession of the two controlled substances and paraphernalia.
