Cassville woman hurt in accident

A Cassville woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident at 12:05 p.m. Tuesday on Farm Road 1135, two miles east of Cassville in Barry County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The driver, Melba Reed, 73, was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital Cassville.

The patrol reported that the vehicle was headed north when it ran off the road and struck a utility pole.
