A Joplin man on Wednesday morning reported that he was robbed at gunpoint of cash he had in his possession at his yard sale, according to a police report.
Michael Dahl, 54, told police that a man approached him about 7 a.m. at his yard sale on West A Street, pointed a gun at him and demanded his money. Dahl said the man took $162 in cash from him and fled in a metallic-blue Ford Ranger pickup truck, according to Lt. Brian Lewis of the Joplin Police Department.
The robber was described as having shoulder-length brown hair and hazel eyes, and was wearing a blue ball cap, a black T-shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes, Lewis said.
