20-year-old man accused of burglary

Joplin police arrested a 20-year-old man Tuesday in connection with a burglary Sunday at a residence on the west side of the city.

Shane W. Conlee, 612 W. 26th St., was arrested in the 1500 block of South Picher Avenue and charged with second-degree burglary and theft.

Cpl. Chuck Niess of the Joplin Police Department said Conlee is accused of entering the home of Marcus A. Price, and stealing video games, a purse, an iPad and a laptop computer. Niess said Conlee also was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana for a small amount of the controlled substance that the arresting officer reportedly found on him.
