Lamar resident hurt in traffic accident just south of town

A Lamar resident was injured in a two-car collision at 9:15 a.m. Saturday on Route KK, one mile south of Lamar in Barton County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Donald E. Clark, 27, sustained minor injuries and was taken to Barton County Memorial Hospital.

A second driver, Thomas L. Rives, also of Lamar, was not injured in the collision, the patrol said.

The accident occurred when Clark’s vehicle skidded into an intersection and struck a vehicle driven Rives, according to the patrol.
