PITTSBURG, Kan. — State and local authorities served a search warrant Friday night at the Infinity Gentleman’s Club, near Pittsburg, and arrested the club’s owner and a second man for alleged alcohol sales violations.

Deputies with the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department and agents with the Kansas Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control raided the club at 144 S. U.S. Highway 69 shortly before 11 p.m. Friday.

In a news release Monday, Sheriff Dan Peak said that Infinity purports to be a club where customers, who pay a cover charge, bring their own alcoholic beverages. But the business is suspected of making alcohol sales to customers without state or local licenses to do so, Peak said.

The club’s owner, David L. Hughbank, 40, of Girard, and Daniel L. Roberts, 42, of Fort Scott, were taken into custody and charged with operating an open saloon. They posted $500 bonds and were released.
