Wrecks injure three people on area roads

— A Neosho teenager was injured in a one-vehicle accident at 10:40 a.m. Wednesday on Route FF, five miles south of Carthage in Jasper County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Chester J. Heilig was taken to Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, the patrol said.

Heilig was driving a westbound pickup truck that ran off the road and struck a culvert, the patrol said.

• A Noel woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 7:40 a.m. Wednesday on Route H, one mile west of Pineville in McDonald County, the patrol said.

Felicia B. Davidson, 19, was taken to Freeman Hospital West.

She was driving an eastbound car that collided with another car driven by Elizabeth M. Petersen, 26, of Pineville, when Petersen pulled into the path of Davidson’s vehicle from a private drive, the patrol said.

• A Pittsburg, Kan., woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident at 8:10 p.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of East Quincy Street, according to the Pittsburg Police Department.

Holly Hazlewood, 30, was taken to Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg, police said.

Hazlewood was driving an eastbound Toyota Tacoma that ran off the street, struck some railroad tracks and an embankment and rolled two times, police said.
