Webb City man accused of assault on girlfriend

A 24-year-old Webb City man is facing a charge of felony domestic assault related to a disturbance Saturday night in an apartment at 1502 S. Michigan Ave.

Jeremy L. Reitz was taken into custody at the address and charged with second-degree domestic assault.

Joplin police Lt. Matt Stewart said Reitz is accused of punching and choking his girlfriend, Addison J. Daniel, 23, during a domestic dispute. Daniel did not require immediate medical attention as a result of the assault, Stewart said.
