Two men injured in vehicle accident east of Stockton

— Two men were injured Monday near Stockton when the van in which they were traveling went off the road, struck a rock bluff and overturned, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Cole Hipskind, 18, and Riccardo Zanoni, 42, both of Stockton, were taken by air ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, according to the patrol. Both occupants were thrown out of the vehicle, and neither was admitting to being the driver, the patrol said.

The accident happened on Missouri Highway 32, two miles east of Stockton in Cedar County.
