NEOSHO, Mo. — Two men are facing felony drug charges in connection with a methamphetamine lab that Newton County sheriff’s deputies reportedly turned up at a home in Stark City.
Chief Deputy Chris Jennings said a tip concerning possible drug-related activities sent deputies Friday afternoon to 625 O’Neil St. in Stark City.
Jennings said a search turned up components of a meth lab, and Ronald J. Roeder, 48, who lives at the address, and Grant J. Jester, 22, of Stotts City, were arrested. Both men were charged with manufacturing a controlled substance. Roeder also was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
The defendants were being held at the Newton County Jail on $10,000 bonds.
