Both drivers were injured in a two-vehicle accident at 7:20 a.m. Monday on Missouri Highway 76, a mile east of Cassville in Barry County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Patrick L. Caddell, 33, of Exeter, and Patrice M. Graham, 39, of Eagle Rock, were taken to Mercy Hospital Cassville.
Caddell’s eastbound vehicle ran into the rear of Graham’s stopped pickup truck, the patrol said.
• A Goodman resident was injured in a three-vehicle accident at 7:10 a.m. Monday on Missouri Highway 59, four miles north of Diamond in Newton County, the state patrol said.
Buckey J. Embrey, 61, was taken by ambulance to Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, the patrol said.
Embrey was driving a northbound truck that ran into the rear of a northbound vehicle driven by Kimberly J. Frencken, 48, of Stark City, causing Frencken’s vehicle to strike the rear of a northbound pickup truck driven by Heath M. Walker, 44, of Carl Junction, the patrol said.
• An Oklahoma man was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 6:03 p.m. Friday in the westbound lanes on Interstate 44 in Joplin, according to a Joplin Police Department report.
Jimmy L. Amiott, 43, of Quapaw, was taken to Freeman Hospital West, the report said.
Amiott was driving a westbound pickup truck that was struck in the rear by a pickup truck driven by Kip T. Overman, 19, of Columbus, Kan., as traffic was slowing and pulling over for emergency vehicles assisting at the scene of a car fire, police said.
