Diamond woman hurt in traffic accident south of Carthage

A Diamond woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 3:15 p.m. Thursday on Garrison Avenue, three miles south of Carthage in Jasper County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Sarah M. Bueno, 21, was taken by ambulance to Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, the state patrol said.

Bueno was a passenger in a southbound car driven by Peyer K. Loy, 21, of Westfield, Ind., that ran off the road and struck a fence, the patrol said.
