Murder suspect in Jukebox shooting arrested in Kansas City

JOPLIN, Mo. — Joplin police Cpl. Chuck Niess said murder suspect Andre L. Brown was arrested Monday night in Kansas City, Mo.

Brown, 21, is charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action in the Saturday night shooting death of Charles Tumbleson, 25, of Joplin, outside Jukebox Saturday Night, 3405 S. Range Line Road.

Brown is being held on a $500,000 bond pending an initial appearance in Newton County Circuit Court. Police are investigating how Brown got to Kansas City from Joplin following the shooting.
