Man charged in April burglary items recovered

Joplin police arrested a 25-year-old man Wednesday in connection with an April 28 burglary of an apartment on South Connecticut Avenue.

Cody B. Nelson, 4416 Center Lane, was charged with second-degree burglary.

Police Cpl. Chuck Niess said investigators developed Nelson as a suspect in the break-in at the apartment of Dezirai Witt. A laptop computer, a video game system, video games and a cellphone taken in the burglary have been recovered, he said.
