Police release sketch of man in robbery case

PITTSBURG, Kan. — Police released a composite sketch Thursday of a man they say was involved in the robbery of a resident Oct. 5 inside his apartment on South Rouse Street in Pittsburg.

The subject of the sketch and two male accomplices forced their way into the victim’s apartment and stole items from him at knife point, according to the Pittsburg Police Department. They are believed to have fled in a black car.

The robbers were all described as being in their 20s. The primary suspect was described as about 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 220 pounds, and having short, brown hair.

Police are asking anyone who may recognize the suspect or has any other information about the crime to call 620-231-1700.
