Teen drinking whiskey shots hospitalized; Sarcoxie man arrested

SARCOXIE, Mo. — A 19-year-old was hospitalized with alcohol poisoning and a Sarcoxie man has been arrested for allegedly supplying him shots of whiskey, according to the Jasper County Sherrif’s office.

Franklin L. Ralston, 56, was arrested early Thursday morning for supplying alcohol to a minor and harassment. The drinking reportedly took place over a 12-hour period of time.

The minor was taken by ambulance to an area hospital.
