Joplin police are investigating a reported date rape that allegedly took place last week.
A 20-year-old woman reported that a man she invited to her home in central Joplin forced himself on her about midnight Wednesday, according to Lt. Brian Lewis of the Joplin Police Department.
Lewis said the woman reported the alleged assault on Saturday, and the matter remained under investigation Monday without any charges having been filed.
